Project summary

Early music is full of stories yet to be told. A musical repertoire from an era that saw the birth of opera and in which artistic disciplines intermingled until they were indistinguishable from one another. This artistic residency is designed for three emerging artists interested in exploring the scenic possibilities of early music through the collective creation of a piece in which music, dance, theatre and dramaturgy dialogue. In the creation process, the artists will be accompanied by four mentors specialising in these four disciplines, and will have a staff of musicians, dancers and actors that they can use according to their creative needs. The premiere of the piece will take place within the framework of the 5th edition of Ballarte Festival.
