Project summary

Rummi Crew is an international collective of young circus artists who met at the Instituto Nacional de Artes do Circo (PT). They use various circus techniques, theatre, and their life experiences as tools for communication. The residency will enable the talented artists to develop their first circus show, present it on two international festivals and connect with local circus communities. “As human beings, we have come a long way, but it is obvious that we still have so much further to go. When we take the time to slow down and analyse ourselves as individuals, and as a society, we see that many of the social norms and rules that we live by are absolutely absurd. The complexities and questions that arise within us as a result of these fictitious “truths” are what F.O.F will explore.”

In 2022, she became the first Slovenian artist in history to be selected for a role in a Cirque du Soleil show called Muv.
• Luca Paties Moeira (IT, BR) specialises in Chinese pole, hand to hand, floor acrobatics, and handstands.
