Project summary

“Do you want to know the Future” is a collaborative practice in development from Petr Dlouhý (CZ) and Bek Berger (AUS/LV) which invites a local queer community to come together to explore identity, magic and ideas that can be communally supported. Utilising the drama and mystery surrounding traditional tarot practices, the two will co-curate a new deck with local participants; one that represents the festival, the city, and the promises towards a better future. The pair and the local co-conspirators will work together with this tarot to develop a new activation / performance for Heartefact. Through this residency and online residencies with partner festivals, the project will be generated to be replicated and mobile to then be created in different cities, such as Turku and Prague.
