Project summary

Itt es Most Tarsulat is a troupe that delivers improvisational theatre performances and improv-based trainings in Budapest, Hungary. We have been running our own theatre and community space in the historical Raday Street in central Budapest since 2019, where we play and train on a weekly basis. In 2022, the troupe teamed up with other theatres operating in the close proximity of Raday Street and launched the RUSzT Festival (Theatre Accademy of Raday Street). We would like to provide the opportunity for a Portugese and an Irish improv troupe to perform and deliver improv based trainings at this festival in 2023, and we would like to attend their festivals to do the same. All parties would benefit greatly from this cross-country experience sharing exercise.

Biography: Itt es Most Tarsulat plays entertaining improvised performances and delivers trainings and workshops based on improvisational theater techniques in Budapest, Hungary. The troupe was founded in 2011, and it has gone through transformations in the past years concerning its members and activities. The Itt es Most Tarsulat Artistic Foundation, which serves as the non-profit organizational background of the troupe was founded in 2017. The operation of the troupe improved over the years, as our approach and circumstances developed. In 2018, we successfully applied for the cultural utilization of a building owned by the local government.
