Project summary

This features four young emerging artists/guitarists from four different countries,all winners of several important International Competitions who have been part of the Eurostrings programme in former years. These guitarists form a guitar quartet with our guidance. During an artist in residence programme they will work out a great play programme to perform at the three festivals involving boththe normal audience and targeted at youth and kids.

Biography: Alvaro Toscano is the leader and the contact of the 4 member of the building in residens Uppsala Guitar Quartet. Alvaro Toscano (Spain), Cristina Galietto ( Italy),
Filip Mišković (Zagreb), Jack Hancher (England). All in the age 21 to 28 years old and winners of several international competitions in classical guitar.
