Project summary

The three comedy festival from the central European and Balkan regions have joined forces! Based on cultural ties intertwining our countries’ histories and languages we have decided to showcase one of the area’s best up and coming comedians since his performance was simply too good to keep within just one country’s borders.

Dragitza Raštegorac

Biography: Actress and a comedian. As she took acting lessons in Peru and was part of an acting ensemble, Dragitza also has several plays behind her. "That's one of the reasons why I wanted to go to America after college, I even passed an audition at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, which is quite demanding, but also too expensive, so I gave it up. That was a good confirmation that I have talent, so when I came to Zagreb, I enrolled in Studio Kubus, but I realized that it was quite difficult for me to act in the Croatian language." Not long after that, she stumbled upon a stand-up workshop at Studio Smjeha and decided to go there. Marina Orsag told me that I was very nice, that I had a great accent and advised me to write some text. She soon asked me when I was planning to go to the open
